C11 House

Served as a holiday home, the owner requested for a minimal and comfortable design for the house. This Scandinavian home features a bright interior with the furniture selections of light beige and wood colours.

The owner has some personal collections of artworks, paintings and an antique cabinet made by his grandfather. He was having the problem of matching his personal items to the the design that he liked. We came out the solution and blended in his personal collections the design. The result came out that the personal collection matches well with the design and it also added a hint of sentimental feeling to this modern home.

Top : The embroidery artwork done by the wife. We allocated a wall to feature the artwork on a wall at the Living area. With just a simple shelf to display the other photos of the family, the embroidery artwork stood out and yet it matched with the interior. We designed some spotlights above it to beautifully lit the artwork.

Top : The precious acrylic artwork above the dining console. The owner bought it oversea and it was his favourite collection. We manage to blend in by matching with a console table with different tones of blue colour drawers and some blue dinnerware at the Dining area.

Right : The antique cabinet made by the client’s grandfather. We repainted a new layer of shellac for the cabinet and display it at the hallway to the bedrooms.

Top : We placed an embroidery artwork made by the wife at the entryway to the bedroom. The green and brown in the artwork, the light greyish-green bedhead wall and curtain, grey bed and with an orange theme Scandinavian artwork, these colours formed a harmonious ambiance.
